Serving great coffee doesnʼt have to be serious business. Gratitude is the attitude when you are given the chance to work at something you truly enjoy. I believe coffee shops exist because we have a basic desire to experience something enjoyable and share it with each other.

Serving an excellent drink to an appreciative connoisseur is just as enjoyable as providing a place to hang out and feel comfortable, and I am lucky enough to get to do both. Through the years, I have worked behind many counters, from The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf in Beverly Hills California to Gloria Jeans Coffee at the Mall of America, from Sonnyʼs Ice Cream/ Crema Cafe in Uptown, to Dunn Bros all over town... After 20 years in the business, I finally find myself able to call a coffee shop Home here in Minneapolis.

Talking, relaxing, reading... staring out the window, playing a record on the record player or watching as someone teaches their children chess, I think you will find Dragonfly Coffee the pleasant experience I have always wanted to create and share.
